The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I chose to use a a limited color palette, a blue monochrome color scheme. I wanted the colors to blend together to give it a soft, dreamlike effect. Design was inspired by Celtic, Norse, Viking, and Pictish artworks.
