A colorful pet portrait of a Silken Windhound named "Pie" in vibrant colors. Acrylic painting on stretched canvas. The Silken Windhound is a relatively new breed of sighthound, developed in 1985 in the United States. They were created from crossing the Borzoi (Russian Wolfhound) , whippets, and other sighthounds. They appear like a small version of the larger Borzoi.
