Artist's Description
A colorful tiger's face appears in the Sri Yantra, a Hindu mandala of enlightenment. The Sri Yantra (also known as the Sri Chakra, Shri Yantra, or Navayoni Chakra), is composed of nine interlocking triangles, four upwards symbolizing the masculine, and five downward symbolizing the feminine. These triangles overlap and form 43 total triangles in different levels, which represents the cosmos. At the center is the Bindu point, which symbolizes the highest power. It is surrounded by two borders of lotus petals, one with eight petals decorated in psychedelic paisley patterns, and one with 16 petals with rainbow colors. The Sri Yantra is a popular example of Sacred Geometry.
