"Jewel of the Orient" A vibrant and colorful portrait of a Siamese cat with stunning Topaz eyes. Painted with acrylics on board. This is a traditional, or applehead, Siamese, also known as a Thai Cat or Wichien Maat. These were the original royal cats of Thailand (Siam). This painting is based off of a seal point, which is typically a cream color with dark brown markings. The "points" are represented with blues, purples, and magenta, while the cream is represented by yellow and orange. She is lit from behind and to the left.
